I hope to be at the next March meeting even this would be my 1st time attending a meeting. If not , I hope some one will bring up my concerns about parking on Oak St. I have lived on Oak st for over 25 years and due to recent improvements to nearby apartments and housing we are getting a group of residents who aren’t the causal driffters of the past . These people are hard workers and and have added to the character of Oak st. However, Due the number of people who now work and drive cars, parking has become an issue. The main apartment at 1025 Oak street has no parking spaces for it’s residents . The apartment at 1018 Oak Street already takes up about five cars spaces. The main reason parking so tough is because of the bus stops. In the past I have talked to the bus company some years back and the did move the bus stops. However the best solution would be to remove the bus stops at 998 Oak Street and 1043 Oak. People would then not be so stessed out about trying to beat their neighbor home to get a good parking spot or worry about getting a ticket for parking to close to a bus stop. I have complained numerous time to Cota about removing the stops but it has fallen on deaf ears. The removale of the stops woud not hurt Cota because the other stops are less than half a block from each other. I have seen this problem coming for many years and yet Cota chose not to lisen. Is there anything you can do?

    Sincerily, Victor Moody
